DERBY, CT - At approximately 8:10pm on February 3, the Derby Fire Department was dispatched along with police and EMS for a multi car accident on Roosevelt Drive. Three vehicles and ten people were involved in the accident. Nine of the ten people needed to be transported to local hospitals such as Yale New Haven and St. Raphael’s Hospital. The accident scene was treated as a mass casualty incident, and members remained on the scene for approximately four hours.
