Bungay Rd. Fire (Seymour, CT) 3/29/04
SEYMOUR, CT - On Monday, March 29, 2004 at around 3:00 p.m., the members of the Seymour Fire Department were dispatched to a working structure fire at 125 Bungay Rd. First in units found fire on the second floor and attic caused by a heat gun used to strip paint. The historic Seymour house was saved due to an aggressive interior attack. One firefighter was treated for steam burns to his ears and neck. Mutual aid was called in from Oxford, Bethany, Beacon Falls, and Ansonia.
