New Haven Rd. Fire (Seymour, CT) 12/23/05

SEYMOUR, CT - At approximately 8:00am on December 23, the Seymour Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire at 76 New Haven Road. The first engine on the scene reported a working structure fire in a 2-story wood frame. The members had fire in the basement around the house’s electrical service, which quickly spread up the structure’s balloon frame to a second floor bedroom. Mutual aid was received from Ansonia, Oxford, and Beacon Falls to work and cover.
