Laurel Ave. Fire (Bridgeport, CT) 9/14/06

BRIDGEPORT, CT – On September 14, the Bridgeport Fire Department was dispatched to a vacant house fire at 169 Laurel Avenue. This was not the first time companies responded to this vacant 2 ½ wood frame for a fire. There were several suspicious fires attempted on this house in the previous couple of weeks. This time, a little after midnight, units found heavy fire showing throughout the whole 1st floor on arrival.
