Logan St. Fire (Bridgeport, CT) 3/25/06

BRIDGEPORT, CT - On March 25 at approximately 7:50a.m., the Bridgeport Fire Department responded to a vacant structure fire near the corner of Logan and Alex on the City’s East Side. The fire had started in the basement of a 3-story wood frame, and immediately extended to the upper floors. Members were pulled out for exterior operations before being allowed back in to finish off the pockets of fire. Firefighters say that a squatter had escaped the blaze uninjured.
