River Road MVA (Shelton/Stratford, CT) 7/4/07

STRATFORD, CT – At approximately 8:40pm on July 4, Stratford and Shelton emergency units were dispatched to the Stratford/Shelton town line on Route 110 for a two car MVA. The two vehicles, a Nissan Murano and a cargo van, collided head on resulting in the Murano catching fire. Unfortunately, two young children perished in this accident, and several others were transported to the hospital with various injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
