Shelton Fire Department Promotion Ceremony (Shelton, CT) 11/20/08

SHELTON, CT – On November 20, 2008 at 6:30pm, the City of Shelton held a Fire Department Promotion Ceremony in City Hall. The ceremony, which took place at 54 Hill Street, honored eleven members of the Shelton Fire Department, including a new fire commission chairman. Those members promoted or appointed are as follows: Francis T. Jones III (Chief of Department), Michael Ullrich (Assistant Chief), Daryl Oscieki (Assistant Chief), Nicholas Verdicchio (Assistant Chief), Edward Tevolitz (Assistant Chief), Timothy Hongo (Assistant Chief), Paul Wilson (Assistant Chief), Ted Pisciota (Assistant Chief Fire Prevention), Michael Maglione (Fire Commission Chairman), John V. Millo (Director - Office of Emergency Management), and Justin B. Sabatino (Assistant Director – Office of Emergency Management). Mayor Mark A. Lauretti was in attendance to administer the oath of office to the Shelton fire officers. The ceremony was followed with a reception that was held at Shelton Fire Company #4, which is located on Long Hill Avenue in the Pine Rock section of the city.
