Kitten Rescue (Shelton, CT) 6/23/09
SHELTON, CT – At approximately 11:00am on June 23, 2009, the Shelton Fire Department dispatched one company to the Plumb Memorial Library for a kitten rescue. A young kitten had apparently become trapped in a well alongside the building and needed a hand getting out. The members arrived shortly and quickly removed the kitten from its situation. Soon after the cat was freed, a young girl and her neighborhood friends gathered by the scene, and were thankful to be reunited with their cat ‘Whiskers’.
