Park Ave. Fire (Bridgeport, CT) 5/5/13

BRIDGEPORT, CT – Shortly after 10:30pm on May 5, 2013, the Bridgeport Fire Department was dispatched to 540 Park Avenue for a building fire. Engine 3 arrived first on scene and found a 1-story commercial vacant strip mall with heavy fire and smoke showing from the rear. The fire spread to all of the structure’s four storefronts via the cockloft space before being knocked down shortly after. This building was also the scene of a previous fire.
