Silvermine Rd. Fire (Seymour, CT) 9/10/14

SEYMOUR, CT – At approximately 6:30pm on September 10, 2014, the Seymour Fire Department was dispatched to 132 Silvermine Road for an activated fire alarm. FM2 was first on scene with heavy smoke showing from a 40’x100’ commercial garage. Crews made an aggressive interior attack and found a vehicle heavily involved on a lift with fire extending to the roofing’s insulation. Crews remained on scene for approximately 3 hours.
