TRANSCAER'S® Northeast Training Tour (North Haven, CT) 4/28/14

North Haven, CT – On April 28, 29, and 30, 2014, members from several area fire departments converged on the North Haven, CT Rail Yards at 110 Universal Drive for a free one-day class. The training that brought over 150 first responders in those three days is known as TRANSCAER’S® Northeast Training Tour and it was developed and administered by TRANSCAER®. The focus of the class was chlorine safety and emergency response to chlorine tank cars. The training included hands-on workshops and classroom instruction, as well as A, B, and C-Kit workshops. Certificates were awarded upon completion.
