Bridgeport American Legion Baseball's Salute to Public Servants (6/13/15)

BRIDGEPORT, CT - At approximately 9 am on June 13, 2015, the Bridgeport American Legion Baseball League kicked off it’s opening day with a salute to our public servants. Bridgeport’s Seaside Park Diamond 1 hosted this salute to our Law Enforcement, Firefighters, First Responders, and Military Personnel. Color guard from these four services marched on the field, bagpipes were played by Bridgeport Assistant Chief John MacNichol, and dignitaries spoke before the game including Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch.
