BRIDGEPORT, CT - At approximately 1:00pm on February 27, 2015, the Bridgeport Fire Department was dispatched to 350 Hanover Street for a reported fire in a heating unit. FC 1 arrived first on scene reporting heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor of a 3-wood and quickly spreading to the 3-woods on both the B and D sides. The fire spread so rapidly it would end up involving four 3-story multi-family homes on that street. In all, twelve families would be displaced by the fire. Luckily, there were no reported injuries.
