Franklin St. Fire (Ansonia, CT) 7/8/16

ANSONIA, CT - At approximately 1pm on July 8, 2016, the Ansonia Fire Department was dispatched to 16 Franklin Street for a house fire. First in companies found heavy fire showing from the 1st floor of 2-story wood. Members quickly went defensive to knock the bulk of the fire down. Soon after, members went interior to finish up. It was reported that a contractor working across the street pulled an elderly man from the 1st floor of the house. Companies from Derby, Shelton, and Seymour responded as mutual aid.
