Edgewood Ave. Fire (Shelton, CT) 9/7/17
SHELTON, CT - At approximately 8:45pm on September 7, 2017, Shelton Fire Companies 1 and 4 were dispatched to 26 Edgewood Avenue for a reported structure fire following reports of an explosion. First arriving members found a heavily involved detached garage with an injured resident that had been taken across the street to safety. The fire was quickly knocked down and the cause of the explosion is being investigated but seems to be accidental.
