Long Hill Ave. Fire (Shelton, CT) 9/9/18

SHELTON, CT - At approximately 2:30pm on September 9, 2018, the Shelton Fire Department was dispatched to 462 Long Hill Avenue for a reported house fire. First in companies found heavy fire showing from a raised ranch that was set back quite a distance from Long Hill Avenue. The occupant was found safe outside of the structure upon arrival and members quickly knocked the fire down. There were no reported injuries and the fire is under investigation.
