Pembroke St. 3rd Alarm (Bridgeport, CT) 1/17/18

BRIDGEPORT, CT - At approximately 1:20pm on January 17, 2018, the Bridgeport Fire Department was dispatched to 1268 Pembroke Street for reports of smoke in a storefront. First companies on scene found smoke showing from a 3-story brick with apartments above a storefront. The fire proved difficult to locate and it soon escalated to at 3rd alarm fire as it found its way into the walls and floors from the basement. Pockets of fire were found on all 3 floors of the structure. In all, 4 people were displaced and a dog was safely rescued from the smoke filled 3rd floor and reunited with it’s owner outside.
