Fallon Dr. 2 Alarm Fire (Hamden, CT) 2/25/19

HAMDEN, CT - At approximately 2:50pm on February 25, 2019, the Hamden Fire Department was dispatched to 114 Fallon Drive for a reported house fire with multiple calls coming in. First companies on scene found heavy fire showing from a 1-story ranch with an exposure problem on the D-Side due to heavy winds. The homeowner was helped to safety by neighbors prior to FD arrival. The fire would escalate to a 2nd alarm before being put under control. Mutual aid from New Haven, North Haven, and Cheshire provided station coverage. The fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal.
