Madison Ave. 3rd Alarm Fire (Bridgeport, CT) 2/13/19

BRIDGEPORT, CT - At approximately 1:00pm on February 13, 2019, the Bridgeport Fire Department responded to 137 Madison Ave for a reported structure fire. First companies on scene found a large 6 family 3-wood with heavy fire showing from the B and C sides on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Battalion 1 called a 2nd alarm on arrival. Heavy winds quickly spread the fire to the top floor of the 6 family 3-wood exposure on the B-side, and a 3rd alarm was called shortly after. In all 31 people were displaced by the fire, but fortunately there were no reported injuries.
