Mill Pond Cir. Fire (Stratford, CT) 11/22/20

STRATFORD, CT - At approximately 1:45pm on November 22, the Stratford Fire Department was dispatched to 45 Mill Pond Circle for a reported explosion with fire. First units on scene found fire in a garage of a raised ranch. The fire in the garage was quickly knocked down and was contained to that region, although there was smoke damage to much of the rest of the house. Five people and two dogs were home at the time of the explosion. All made it out uninjured except for a 42-year-old male that sustained severe burns covering 60% of his body and was transported to Bridgeport Hospital. The cause of the explosion was not known at the time of this writing.
