Hallett St. 2nd Alarm Fire (Bridgeport, CT) 12/8/21

BRIDGEPORT, CT - Shortly after 9pm on December 8, 2021, the Bridgeport Fire Department was dispatched to 646 Hallett Street for a reported structure fire. Police were reporting 2 people had jumped from the structure while the FD were enroute. First companies on scene found heavy fire on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a 2 1/2 wood with two injured adults in front of the home with injuries consistent with falls. The fire quickly escalated to a 2nd alarm which kept the fire from extending to nearby exposures. The injured parties were transported to the hospital and the extent of their injuries were unknown at the time of this writing. The state fire marshal is investigating the scene.
