Madison Ave. 2nd Alarm Fire (Bridgeport, CT) 4/3/21

BRIDGEPORT, CT - At approximately 12:30pm on April 3, 2021, the Bridgeport Fire Department was dispatched to 1180 Madison Avenue for a reported structure fire. First companies on scene found smoke showing from the roof of Turn’n Heads Barber Shop, a mixed occupancy structure. Shortly after, a 2nd alarm was called and firefighters found fire on the first floor in the drop ceilings of the barber shop. All occupants had made it to safety before FD arrival and four families in all were displaced by the fire. The fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s office.
