Pleasant View Rd. Fire (Derby, CT) 11/10/21

DERBY, CT - AT 12:22am on November 10, 2021, the Derby Fire Department was dispatched to 79 Pleasant View Road for a reported house fire. First companies on scene found a 1-story ranch with heavy fire showing from the front picture window. As members entered the structure to start their primary and to attack the fire, they located a victim and immediately removed him. Unfortunately the man in his early 50s did not survive the fire. Cause of the fire was still under investigation at the time of this writing.
