Route 8 NB Car Fire (Ansonia, CT) 7/7/21

ANSONIA, CT - At approximately 2:00pm on July 7, 2021, the Ansonia Fire Department was dispatched to Route 8 southbound for a reported car fire just south of the Exit 19 ramp. First units on scene found a vehicle with a heavily involved engine compartment. Route 8 southbound was temporarily shut down during firefighting operations.
