Wakelee Ave. Fire (Shelton, CT) 12/23/21

SHELTON, CT - Shortly before 11:00pm on December 23, 2021, the Shelton Fire Department was dispatched to Wakelee Avenue at Charles Street for the reported structure fire. First companies on scene found heavy fire showing from the front porch of a 2 1/2 story wood frame. The fire was quickly knocked down before it could cause serious damage to the first floor of the home. The home under renovation at the time of the fire and was unoccupied.
