Gilbert St. 2nd Alarm Fire (West Haven, CT) 11/1/22

WEST HAVEN, CT - At approximately 6:00am on November 1, 2022, the West Haven Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 86 Gilbert Street. First companies on scene found heavy fire showing from the 3rd floor of a 3-story wood frame home. A 2nd alarm was called soon after arrival. The residence was occupied at the time of the fire, but all have appeared to have escaped uninjured except for one person suffering from smoke inhalation.
